John Terry Speaks Out About Sacking

Yesterday John Terry was sacked as captain of the England squad. The footballer, 29, was caught up in a scandal which claimed that he had an affair with lingerie model Vanessa Perroncel. Terry refused to comment on the allegations but within days his wife was spotted leaving the country and headed to Dubai. Terry’s position as England captaincy sparked debates throughout the country whether he would be sacked. Yesterday Fabio Capello confirmed that John Terry had been sacked and Rio Ferdinand would take over his duties. Earlier today John Terry told reporters “I was devastated when he said I was losing the job as England captain. I didn’t expect that when I walked in”. And the former skipper also said that if there was a chance for him to become the England skipper before the World Cup he would fight tooth and nail for it.
