Gerard Butler would love to be the next James Bond. The actor told reporters that there have been many rumours linking him with the part and he would now like to audition for the part. Butler told reporters ‘I’d love to play James Bond, but it’s been said so often, so inaccurately. Butler was in his flat when he first heard reports linking him with the 007 role but has not been approached for the role. Daniel Craig is currently playing Bond.
