Hilary Duff wants to be more than just an actress so she now is adding author to her repertoire. Hilary Duff has landed a book deal with Simon & Schuster, the publishing house confirmed today. The 22-year-old starlet will be writing young adult novels, E! News reports, with the first in her series, Elixir, set for release on Oct. 12. The 416-page book will follow globe-trotting photojournalist Clea Raymond. The star also claims that she does not plan to be a one hit wonder. She will pen follow up the novel with a nonfiction book geared toward children dealing with divorce.

The actress attended the Razzies on Saturday night and collected a Golden Raspberry for her performance in All About Steve however she then attended the Academy Awards and was named Best Actress for role in Blind Side. The actress tell how she is planning a special place for both trophies.
She says, “They’re going to sit side by side, as they should. You know we’re in the entertainment business. That’s what we’re supposed to do. You take the good with the not so good.
“I had the best time at the Razzies… It is what it is and, you know, it probably means more that both of them (awards) happened at the same time because it’s the great equalizer. Nothing ever lets me get too full of myself. It quickly chops me off at the knees, and I like it that way because it keeps things stable.
“They’ll sit side by side in a nice little shelf somewhere; the Razzie maybe on a different shelf, lower.”

Daniel Radcliffe Still Recovering From Food Poisoning

The Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is recovering after falling ill with a bout of food poisoning. The actor was struck down with the stomach bug on his way to New York last week and had to receive treatment for dehydration. Radcliffe spent two days in hospital before flying back to London on Sunday.
