Angelina Jolie meets hospital staff treating injured Haitian children. The star, was visibly moved as she toured the paediatric ward of Dario Contreras Hospital in neighbouring Dominican Republic. She spoke to the country’s president Leonel Fernandez about relief aid and also about the possibility of adopting a Haitian child. A close friend of the actress tell reporters “She’s made no secret of her desire to adopt again. “Children in Haiti need help. It’s a perfect opportunity.”

While filming a action sequence for her latest film, Salt, Angelina Jolie got injured and got injured. She bumped her head while doing a chasing action sequence and suffered small cut between her eyes. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital and is doing fine.

A spokesperson for the movie’s studio, Sony, confirmed that Jolie is now fine. In a statement, the studio said:

This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie Salt, Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie was taken to a local hospital, examined and released. She is now back on set and production of the film has resumed.
