Camilla Visits Coronation Street

Camilla Parker Bowles visited Weatherfield to mark the soap’s 50th anniversary year. After posing for pictures she went into the Rovers and pulled a pint and met the cast members and the producers. HRM stayed to watch an episode being filmed and told reporters that she watched the soap as a child and that she couldn’t believe how small the sets were. Before leaving, the street’s young actresses Helen Flanagan and Brooke Vincent presented her with a bouquet of flowers.
