Former American Football superstar OJ Simpson sentenced to 16 years jail term. He pleaded for mercy from the Judge today. Simpson was convicted of armed kidnapping and armed robbery in Las Vegas. The judge sentenced Simpson, and his accomplice, to 16 years in prison with Simpson eligible for parol after 6 years. Simpson received the minimum sentence for his crimes. It is refreshing when the court applies the law, rather than acting on personal bias like happened in his double murder trial years ago in California.

Britney Spears birthday celebrations did not last longer were overshadowed by an outburst from her ex Kevin Federline, who claimed he had not wanted a divorce.

Kevin, 30, told a magazine:

I was trying to work stuff out with her. She didn’t talk to me…and went behind my back and filed for divorce.

He said, I was very, very worried for her ’cause I care about her. That’s the mother of my children.

Just because I’m not in love with her doesn’t mean that I don’t love her. I’m definitely rooting for her. There’s nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.

The Dirty Dancing superstar Partrick Swayze is furious and has hit out to rumor reports of his loosing battle with pancreatic cancer. He stated that he is responding well to treatment and medication.

Last week, a U.S. supermarket tabloid claimed the Dirty Dancing actor was beginning ‘the countdown to the end’ after being told the cancer had spread to his liver.

Following the report, angry Swayze has issued a statement denying his health has taken a turn for the worse and he is continuing to fight the disease with the support of his family and friends.

As he continues to fight his illness, Swayze has been hard at work on his new TV show The Beast.

In a statement to America’s People magazine, Swayze said:

I’m very proud of the work I’ve done on my new series The Beast, and I am happy to be back home for the holidays.

The only thorn in my side being that many tabloids have been consistently reporting lies and false information about me and those close to me. And latest, they’re reporting that I’m on my last legs and saying goodbye to my tearful family.

Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive disease and from the moment I was diagnosed, I knew I was in for the fight of my life. It’s a battle, and so far, I’ve been winning. I’m one of the lucky few that responds well to treatment.

It’s upsetting that the shoddy and reckless reporting from these publications cast a negative shadow on the positive and good fight I’m fighting. For me, my family, and those close to me, it amounts to downright emotional cruelty.

That makes me angry when hope is so precious.’

He said:’It’s a battle zone I go through. Chemo, no matter how you cut it, is hell on wheels.’

Britney Spears celebrated her 27th birthday last night with lots of humor and fun in a couple of years after the ordeal happend with her. She dazzled her fans as she pulled on a low-cut grey dress in her newly svelte body as she combined her party with one to mark the release of her new album Circus at Club Tenjune in New York.

But Britney soon got worried and was left hitching up her designer dress by the straps as it began to slip down, revealing a lacy black bra and her left nip. If you look closely in the first photo above you will understand what I mean.

Now that is cherry on top of the cake for her fans. Happy belated Birthday Britney!

Eva Longoria was on a weekend trip to San Juan, Puerto Rice for her friend “Without A Trace” star ’s wedding. The day before the nuptials on November 28, 2008, the actress, along with a couple girlfriends, took in the sights of the city. The trio walked around and seemed to have a wonderful time exploring San Juan. They took a few photos then visited a local cafe. Though Eva seemed to be a bit self conscious of the size of her stomach that didn’t stop her from chowing down on some carbs as the ladies lunched! In surprise twist, the pint sized Latina stepped outside, bread still in hand, to take a call and lit up a smoke! After she finished the last bight, she puffed away on her smoke as she chatted and laughed up a storm!

Seems those pregnant rumors are fully baseless or else Eva wouldn’t have smoked.
